Play the James Bond Roulette Strategy

Updated on: February 2nd, 2021

James Bond StrategyIf you are an avid movie watcher, you may be wondering how the James Bond strategy comes about. Well, in the older version of Casino Royale, 007 is seen spinning the roulette wheel. Unfortunately, in the remake, that scene does not make it to the final cut.

Other betting system types have influenced the strategy. It is a progressive system and you have to choose your bet amount in proportion. The progression of the strategy comes when you lose. You will then have to double the chips.

The strategy suggests that your bet be split into three parts. None of the bets is equal. The first bet should be 70% of your total, the second bet will be 25%, and the third is 5%.  Of course, James Bond made it look easy and rewarding. However, he does not show you the ins and out of the betting strategy or the James bond strategy odds.

Our experts have created a deceptively easy to follow guide on the James Bond strategy roulette that can be used at real money casino sites.

How Does the James Bond Strategy Work

The 007 system has grown in popularity because it is easy to follow. The online roulette strategy suggests that you use $200 to place bets when using this strategy. Remember that the initial bet is split three ways. 70% of the bet will be made on high numbers. This means $140 of your ante will be placed on number 19 to 36.

25% of your bet, which is $50, will be made on only six numbers. The numbers range between 13 to 18. $10 of your bet is made on 0 as insurance. This is 5% of the ante.

The strategy only works on the European wheel, as it only has one 0. The strategy can make quick earning. You will need to ensure that you have enough money in your bankroll to withstand a possible losing streak.

Strategy Odds

Many players may argue that bet is steep for one spin, you have to remember that the potential payout is quite great. Here are the James Bond odds should the ball land on the predicted section.

  • The 70% bet has 18 to 19 odds of winning. Should the ball land anywhere on numbers between 19 and 36 you will make a profit of $80.
  • The 25% bet has 6 to 31 odds, which make a profit of $100. The ball will have to land on any of the six numbers between 13 and 18.
  • The 5% insurance bet will see you make a profit of $160 if the ball lands on 0. The odds of this bet being successful are between 1 and 36.

You may be wondering what happens when the ball lands on the group of numbers that we did not mention. Well, that is the risky part of the James bond strategy. Should the ball land on numbers 1 to 12, you will lose your entire $200 bet.

Does the James Bond Roulette Strategy Work?

Yes, the James Bond strategy does work and several players have benefited from the betting system. The betting system requires players to have a bit more than $200 to enjoy more than one spin. There is a limit to the number of spins in the system. While the strategy does make it hard for players to recoup money lost. While you stand to walk away with $160 if the ball land on 0 that is not enough to place the same bet in the next round.

The strategy is not the best long term strategy out there and there are better roulette bets in other systems such as the Martingale strategy which’s a bit similar to the Bond system. Here are more interesting roulette guides to help you win.
