With EZ Baccarat we’ve noticed a difference in rules pertaining to one of the main betting options.

EZ Baccarat vs Baccarat

Above we mentioned that this version of the game comes with a twist to one of the main betting options in the game. So, what is this betting option and what’s different about it? In the standard version of the game you have three possible betting options: You can either bet on the banker, the player, or bet on a tie. The rules regarding the player and tie bets remain the same, but there are some changes to the banker bet.

The first difference is that the banker bet pays even money on all wins. The second difference states that if the banker manages to win on a three-card hand that equals 7, the banker bet will push. There are also two additional side bets that have been added to the game, they are called The Dragon 7 and Panda 8.

The Dragon 7 Bet

The Dragon 7 bet is one that predicts the banker winning with three cards that add up to 7. The table below shows the probability of this occurring and the payout you can expect should you secure a Dragon 7.

Panda 8 Bets

The Panda bet predicts that the player will win on three cards that add up to 8. As you can see, the numbers on the bets are an indicator of the total you are hoping for.

How to Play EZ Baccarat

EZ Baccarat is quicker and easier to play than the standard version of the game. As you know, there are three possible bets to make. By betting on a tie, you predict that the banker and player hands will be the exact same.

  1. To begin you must place your wager. How much you bet will depend on the betting limits of the casino.
  2. You will bet on whether you think the player or the banker will conclude the round with a hand that equals to 9 or closest to it.
  3. You and the dealer both will each receive 2 cards at this point. You may ask for a 3rd card if that’s the best option.
  4. Now you’ll count your cards to see what the tally is. Remember only the last digit of the overall tally counts. For example, if you received a 10 and a 9, together they make 19 so the total value of your hand will be 9 because that’s the last digit.
  5. The hand that equals to 9 or closest to it wins that round and will receive the equivalent payout.

Overview

This variant of the classic casino game is well worth a shot in our opinion. Not many changes, except for the additional bets and new rules to the banker bet. When you are ready, you may visit any of the casinos that we have listed in our table above. At our casinos, you can play EZ baccarat for free or for real money!
